Unique work

Painting made with acrylics on canvas, with brush and airbrush.

In his recent works Filippo Cegani (1993, born in Milan, lives and works between London and Milan) develops the concepts of hyper masculinity and male fragility, developing an aesthetic that is positioned between the kitsch airbrushed posters of the 1980s and the contemporary trend of post digital painting. This work is part of a series inspired by heavy metal lettering, in which the aggressiveness of the brambles that form the writing conceals the sentimental meaning of the starting sentences.
