Sculpture made of ceramic with pigments. The series of ceramics “Polymorphic organisms” is inspired by the work of the biologist Ernst Heackel “Kunstformen der Natur” and, in particular, by the study of diatoms. Appeared about 145 million years ago, diatoms are the first forms of life on our planet. Their symmetrical shapes, simple but complex, functional and beautiful at the same time, are like natural mandalas that contain the secrets of life itself.
The work has a hole in the back and can be hung vertically.
