Through a selection of sculptures, objects, jewelry, photographs, and drawings, the artist reimagines the human body and everyday items, transmuting them into mysterious, uncanny forms that hover between the archetype of an artifact, a relic, and a fragment of a future yet to unfold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The exhibition imagines a time when what we consider contemporary today might be viewed as the remnants of a vanished civilization. The body thus becomes an archive, the object a memory, and the present a future past. Blending mythology, science fiction, and a profound nostalgia for the present, *The Evanescence of Time* prompts the viewer to reflect on what time preserves, transforms, and\u2014ultimately\u2014renders ancient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gilon\u2019s work stems from a profound reflection on the mutability of the body\u2014conceived as a fluid territory where individual identity can be redefined within society. By leveraging the plastic and metamorphic properties of ceramics, the artist engages in a rigorous dialogue with the languages \u200b\u200bof pop culture, fashion, and youth subcultures.
