Through patient and refined pictorial techniques, Riccardo Albiero (1996, Chioggia) constructs images that do not seek to grasp reality, but rather to evoke a poetic and meditative space, poised between the visible and that which eludes the gaze. Painting becomes a time of waiting, not passive but vibrant and suspended, in which vision exists in a perpetual balance between light and shadow, presence and absence.
